The Cuttlebug All In One Folder works Great for clear stamps. I tried a foam stamp as well and pressed very carefully It worked also. I would be careful using foam stamps with this though. Do a dry run to make sure the stamp is not too thick for the Cuttlebug All In One Folder .
I added a plastic grid to the base of the platform. The 2nd plastic grid goes on the outside of the lid as a guide to line up my stamps. I ran the plastic grid through the Xyron machine and then adhered it to the base of the platform and the 2nd plastic grid I adhered to the outside of the lid. The Cuttlebug All In One Folder is for embossing, de-bossing and letterpress. The holes in the platform do not affect the stamped image at all. I put a piece of tape behind the paper to hold it in place. It works great for when you need to line up stamps in just the right place on your card front. If your image didn't stamp cleanly then you can just ink up your stamp and stamp over it again. Do not run the Cuttlebug All In One Folder through the Cuttlebug when stamping with clear stamps and foam stamps.
I thought I would share this as an option for stamping images in the exact same place every time.
I have been doing the 30 day stamping challenge and have used this a lot. It has been so helpful getting things lined up correctly.
This is the Cuttlebug All In One Folder. It measures 6"x9". The lid is 1/4" thick and base is 1/4" thick. It is hinged for ease of use.
You only run this through the Cuttlebug when you are using the plates that can be purchased separately for embossing, de-bossing or Letterpress. The plates are purchased separately. Here I added a plastic grid to the platform as a guide to line up my stamps.
I ran the plastic grid through the Xyron machine and then adhered it to the base of the platform and adhered a 2nd piece of plastic grid to the outside of the lid. I lined the grid up so the grid on the top lid lines up with the grid on the base plate.
This is an example of using the Cuttlebug All In One Folder with clear stamps.
Secure the paper onto the platform with a piece of tape on the back of your paper.
Close the folder lid and press lightly to stamp.
If your stamped image didn't stamp cleanly. You apply more ink to your stamp and stamp over the image again. It will stamp in the same place as long as your paper is secure and you didn't move your stamp.
Hope this has been helpful!
Happy Crafting!
