Lily Wreath

This is my granddaughter's birthday present.

She wanted a wreath for her bedroom.

These are the colors she chose.

The yarn is Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick and Quick Yarn. The color of the yarn is 106 Sky Blue. I wrapped the yarn around a 14" Floracraft Styrofoam Extruded Wreath with  UPC white.

I cut the Lily flowers out with Crafter's Companion - Sheena Perfect Partners metal die - Victorian Floral Lily.  I used wool felt for the flowers.

I embellished the center of the Lilies with Jolee's Boutique - Pearl and Gem Clusters.
 

Using Travel Bags For Craft Supplies For Vacations Or On Road Trips

I am so excited I found a nice size travel bag to fit my coloring supplies in while on the go or to use at home. It is a Yeiotsy travel bag that measures approximately 8-1/2"L x 5-1/2W x 5-1/2"H filled. The entire set of Spectrum Noir Colorista markers fit in this bag along with a couple 5x7 Spectrum Noir Colorista coloring pads. There is plenty of room to fit more in this bag as you can see from the pictures. It is reasonably priced at 8.99 with Amazon's Prime shipping. The opening of the bag opens up wide to easily put your supplies in or take them out. It has a carrying handle at each end of the bag. There are 5 colors to choose from. I think I'm going to pick up another one. It is so nice to just be able to have everything in one place. When your on the go you can put it in your tote with everything secured in the bag with the zipper closure. 
This would also be nice for kids supplies when going on road trips or vacation.

Diamond Press Word Die Storage

Diamond Press Word Die Storage
I am using a Diamond Press Die Storage Binder.
I cut out each word and adhered it on the magnet sheet.
Then I placed the die under the corresponding word.
I color coded them so I know which set they came from for posting projects on my blog.  Then when writing up my blog posts I can pass that information along to you.  The white is the Diamond Press Cardmaking dies. 

The blue are the Diamond Press Party dies.

By having the words cut out and adhered to the magnet sheet I know exactly what the word looks like cut out for when I want to use them in my projects. 

I store the Diamond Press Stamp and Die Sets in a Docrafts Stamp Storage Binder shown on the left.

Pictured above on the left is the Diamond Press coordinating dies for the Beautiful Stamp and Die Set in the Docrafts Stamp Storage Binder. Pictured on the right is the embossing folders that were part of the Beautiful Stamp and Die set. I put a magnetic sheet behind the dies. So when I go to use them I will then just put them on the magnetic sheet and take them off the white sheet they came on.

I struggled to find a storage solution that works for me with the Anna Griffin Mix and Match Embossing Folders. The removable plates fit perfectly in the Totally Tiffany Edna - EZ2O Buddy Bag from The Scrap Rack. I have been searching for a way to store these small plates for over a year now. I just by chance put them in the Edna - EZ2O Buddy Bag usually used for ribbon and they fit perfectly.

I am so happy most of my washi tape is in storage.  I used Totally Tiffany Shelly EZ2O Buddy Bag from The Scrap Rack.  As you can see below these Washi tape bags fit in the Iris container (pictured left) and the Creative options containers (pictured on the right).

Directions:

1 sheet of paper cut to 4" x 11-1/2". Score at 3",4",6",7",9"and 10". 
Cut an angle from the 3" score line at bottom cutting at an angle towards the top leaving the top border at 1" to 1-1/2". 
Then fold your score lines. This will be for a card size of 4-1/4"x5-1/2"

Lawn Fawn Shammy Verses The Absorber

Let me begin by saying I love Lawn Fawn products.
Then I heard about The Absorber.  I decided to put it to the test against Lawn Fawn Shammy.  First look at the size difference.
The Absorber measure 27"x17". The Lawn Fawn Shammy measures 7"x5".
You can cut 12 shammies out of the 27"x17" Absorber. I purchased the Lawn Fawn Shammy for $6.40 I purchased the Absorber for $12.63. Keep in mind I can get 12 shammies out of 1 Absorber. If I bought 12 Lawn Fawn Shammies it would cost $76.80 verses $12.63 to cut 12 shammies from the Absorber. The Absorber and the Lawn Fawn Shammy clean the stamp with the same quality. Both were tested with Stazon ink. The stamp shown is after I cleaned it with the Absorber. I recommend the Absorber. It is more cost effective and cleans the stamps just the same. The only thing my husband and I found that was different is the Lawn Fawn Shammy felt softer.  Will I still buy the Lawn Fawn shammy.
I sure will. I think both products are equally effective in cleaning your stamps.

A simple Valentine's Day Card

I used the Fiskars scallop heart punch to punch out hearts from various pattern papers.
I wrapped bakers twine around the card and tied a bow to finish the card.
